Type of Bag question

Ok this might win the most silly question award but...what type of bag do you carry around with you when out and about during the day? To carry cameras, camcorder and bits %26amp; bobs?

Last year I carried a small sachtel type bag but I couldn%26#39;t carry the weight on my shoulders all day this time, so my husband said about him carrying a back pack with all this in, but is a wee bit worried about looking %26#39;touristy%26#39; and also that the bag is too accessable to people behind IYKWIM?

I so wanted him to get a Jack Bauer (24) type bag but he was having none of it LOL

Type of Bag question

My husband carries all his camera gear around in a Domke satchel bag, and I always have a canvas tote with me wherever I go to hold a bottle of water, small camera, map etc. It%26#39;s light enough to carry on my shoulder, but can also be carried in my hand if it gets heavy with bits and bobs I might pick up.

I carry my Manhattan Portage messenger bag at home and as a tourist.

Sorry to sound dumb, but what is a Jack Bauer bag?

Jack Bauer in the tv series 24. He was never without a satchel bag in the last series. Been trying to convince him to get one of these for ages now. LOL
