I have never been to New York before and am thinking about planning a trip next May. Is 7 days too long or should that be plenty of time to do the tourist things, see a Broadway play or musical, attend a Yankees game and possibly a few live shows?
I think I am set on booking the Radio City Apartments because of location, reviews and price. Anyone have any other suggestions or advice???
Is 7 Days In NYC too long???
7 days in New York city too long?......That%26#39;s like saying there%26#39;s too much ice cream...NEVER!!!!!!!
Is 7 Days In NYC too long???
That%26#39;s what I thought but just wanted to make sure. I don%26#39;t like to be rushed and I know there is tons to do in NYC and surrounding areas. Do the Yankees have their 2007 schedule out yet? When I got on the website I only saw the schedule from the season that just ended.
You can definitely find enough things to do to fill seven days. You could spend two full days just going through the Met. I don%26#39;t know much about the local hotels, but I wouldn%26#39;t want to stay in Midtown with all the other tourists. New York is easy to get around, so try staying in a different neighborhood and seeing what life is really like here!
Seven days too long?!?!
I%26#39;ll be there for 18 days!
I think having time is good. You can enjoy yourself without having to rush, and having extra times mean you can also choose some days to just do something quiet and relaxing if you%26#39;re a bit tired from all the usual toursit stuff.
Ok, can anyone tell me if all shows tape into late May say, May 19-25? I was told that SNL stopped mid-May, what about David Letterman, Regis and Kelly, etc?? I have looked on websites but haven%26#39;t seen a future calendar or anything that tells dates of tapings.
IMO 7 weeks isn%26#39;t enough!!! Radio City Apts are great - I stayed there in August. Book now, though, they are becoming so popular!
Have a great time.
On the Radio City Apartments, can someone tell me if the Studio Apt with 2 double beds is plenty big? I am debating on the 1 bedroom apt or the Studio. There will only be 2 of us.
Aggie, I stayed in a one bedroom apartment as I had my teenage son and his friend with us. They had a queen sized bed each in the bedroom and I slept on the sofabed, which, I may say, was extremely comfortable. I can%26#39;t really comment on the studio apartment%26#39;s size, but ours was really quite large.
