Carriage Ride in Central Park

Where do we go to get a Horse drawn Carriage ride in Central Park

Carriage Ride in Central Park

They are usually all lined up along Central Park South near the gates of the park (right at the edge of the corner of 5th Ave, very near the Plaza). If you do a search for carriage rides loads of threads will come up with peoples opinions on the rides.

The south of Central Park on 59th street is where the Horse drawn carriages line up to take people through the park. There are always more carriages than demand so you should have no trouble getting one. An interesting thing (I mention it as you%26#39;re from Limerick!) is that a lot of the guys who drive the carriages tend to be from Ireland so you might have some interesting conversations along the way! Enjoy!

Note that trips are short, may be worth negotiating longer trip. Avg $40 for about what feels like 1/2 mile. But it is nice!
